This is a “Tokubetsu Junmai” sake made from “Hidahomare” rice produced in Gifu Prefecture. It was brewed after the head of Funasaka Shuzo consulted with Toji Hiraoka, asking, “Can we create a sake that is delicious when warmed?” By polishing Gifu’s sake rice, Hidahomare, to 60% to bring out its umami, and brewing with Gifu-developed G yeast, the result is a dry Junmai sake that maintains the rich flavor concept of the Miyamagiku brand while having a clean finish.
This is not just a delicious Junmai sake but one that emphasizes local ingredients, specifically a dry sake. What makes this Junmai sake from Hida Takayama remarkable is that “despite being a Junmai sake, it has a clean and crisp aftertaste.” While it possesses the rich body typical of Junmai sake, it is crafted to complement flavorful ingredients, such as the local specialty Hida beef, by cleansing the palate while allowing you to fully enjoy the sake’s taste.

(※Please note that this product is a Tokubetsu Junmai, so it does not have a ginjo aroma.)

Preservation method:Sealed bottle can be kept in room temperature, unsealed bottle has to be in fridge.
There is no expiry date for Japanese sake, but it can be kept in unsealed condition for 180 days after the date of manufacture for the best quality of the sake. Once it is sealed, please finish the bottle as soon as possible. (within roughly 2 weeks is highly recommended)
